Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, ground black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Marinate the Meats
Cut the lamb shoulder into 1-inch cubes and add to the marinade. Mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. In a separate bowl, combine the ground beef with half of the remaining marinade. Mix until the beef is well seasoned. Cover both bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.

Chop Vegetables
While the meat is marinating, chop the bell peppers, onion, and zucchini into 1-inch pieces. Set aside.
Assembling the Kabobs

Soak Skewers (if Wooden)
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.

Assemble Kabobs
On each skewer, alternate pieces of marinated lamb, ground beef shaped into meatballs, and chopped vegetables. Ensure to leave some space between each item for even cooking.
