For Chicken Kabobs

Method

For Chicken Kabobs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, minced ginger, cumin powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil until smooth.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breast into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Skewers

Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

  5. 5

    Grill the Kabobs

Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

For Chicken Seekh

  1. 6

    Prepare the Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 7

    Shape the Seekh

Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking and take a portion of the mixture. Shape it around the skewers in a cylindrical form, pressing tightly to hold its shape.

  3. 8

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  4. 9

    Grill the Seekh

Place the seekh skewers on the grill and cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally. Ensure they are cooked through and have a nice brown color.
