Beef Kabob Directions

Prepare Marinade
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

Marinate the Beef
Cut the beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Prepare Vegetables
While the beef is marinating, chop the bell peppers, onion, and zucchini into 1-inch pieces.

Assemble Skewers
After marinating, thread the beef and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between beef and vegetables.

Cook Rice
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add in 2 cups of long-grain rice, salt, and butter. Stir briefly.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is fully absorbed.
