Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Vegetable Sauté

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli, and carrots, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

  2. 3

    Add Tomatoes

Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

Add the vegetable broth to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.

  2. 5

    Combine with Pasta

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for another 2 minutes to allow the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.

  3. 6

    Add Cheese

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.

Garnishing

  1. 7

    Serve and Garnish

Serve the pasta primavera hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
