Fish Sandwich Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Spicy Tartar Sauce
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, and hot sauce. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- 2
Season the Fish
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the blackening seasoning evenly over both sides of the fillets.
- 3
Cook the Fish
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned fish fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a nice blackened crust.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the burger buns lightly. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked fish fillet, sliced tomatoes, and red onion. Generously spread the spicy tartar sauce on the top half of the bun and place it on top.

Serve
Serve the fish sandwiches immediately with your choice of sides.
