Method
Crab Cakes Preparation
- 1
Mix the Crab Cake Ingredients
In a large bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, green onions, and bread crumbs. Mix until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Form the Crab Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Chill the Crab Cakes
Cover the patties with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape while cooking.
- 4
Cook the Crab Cakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
