Preparing the Crab
Clean the Crab
Rinse the fresh crab under cold water to remove any sand or debris. Ensure all parts of the crab are clean.
Season the Crab
In a large bowl, combine the Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Rub this mixture all over the cleaned crab, ensuring it's well coated.
Cooking the Crab
Boil the Crab
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the seasoned crab and boil for about 10-15 minutes or until the crab turns bright red and is cooked through.
Making the Butter Sauce
Prepare the Butter Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.
