Directions
- 1
Muddle the Herbs
In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and Thai basil leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the herbs to release their essential oils and flavors.

Add the Liquids
Pour in the white rum, lime juice, and simple syrup into the cocktail shaker with the muddled herbs.
- 3
Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and secure the lid. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to mix all the ingredients well and chill the mixture.
- 4
Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice cubes, ensuring to filter out the herb pieces.
- 5
Top with Club Soda
Slowly pour the club soda over the strained mixture to add a refreshing fizz.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and a sprig of mint or Thai basil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
