Preparation

1

Muddle the Ingredients

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh Thai basil leaves and granulated sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and twist the basil leaves to release their oils. Be careful not to shred the leaves too much; just bruise them slightly.

2

Add the Lime

Cut the lime into wedges and add them to the glass. Continue muddling the mixture to release the lime juice and combine it with the basil and sugar.

3

Pour in the Rum

Add the white rum to the glass, mixing it well with the muddled ingredients.

4

Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top.

5

Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice until the glass is full. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients without losing the carbonation.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a few extra Thai basil leaves and a lime wedge if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Thai Basil Mojito!
