Mimosa Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Chill the Ingredients

Before preparing your mimosas, chill the champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Fresh orange juice should also be chilled.

  2. 2

    Juice the Oranges

If using fresh oranges, cut them in half and juice them until you have 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain to remove any pulp if desired.

  3. 3

    Mix the Mimosa

In a large pitcher, combine the chilled champagne and fresh orange juice. Use a gentle stirring motion to mix them together without losing the bubbles.

  4. 4

    Serve

Pour the mimosa into champagne flutes, filling each glass about halfway. If desired, add a teaspoon of sugar to each glass for extra sweetness.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Slice the fresh orange and place a slice on the rim of each glass for garnish.
