Pasta and Proteins

Method

Pasta Preparation

1

Cook the Fettuccine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Protein Preparation

2

Cook the Chicken

Season the grilled chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a little jerk seasoning. Grill over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and slice into strips.

3

Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, season with remaining jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

Vegetable Preparation

4

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet used for the shrimp, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté over medium heat for about 5 minutes until they are softened.

Sauce Preparation

5

Make the Creamy Alfredo Sauce

In a saucepan, add the heavy cream and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the cream begins to simmer. Add the grated parmesan cheese and remaining jerk seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine and Serve

6

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, sautéed vegetables, sliced grilled chicken, and blackened shrimp. Pour the creamy alfredo sauce over the mixture and toss until everything is well coated.

7

Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
