Pork Tenderloin

Brioche Bun or Iowa Toast

Optional Toppings

Method

Preparing the Pork Tenderloin

  1. 1

    Season the Pork

Rub the pork tenderloin with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika evenly on all sides.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork

Add the seasoned pork tenderloin to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  4. 4

    Rest the Pork

Remove the pork from the skillet and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Buns

  1. 5

    Butter the Buns

Spread butter on the inside of each brioche bun.

  2. 6

    Toast the Buns

In the same skillet, toast the buttered sides of the buns until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 7

    Slice the Pork

Slice the rested pork tenderloin into thick slices.

  2. 8

    Build the Sandwich

Place a few slices of pork on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add optional toppings such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayonnaise.

  3. 9

    Close and Serve

Top with the other half of the bun, serve warm, and enjoy your delicious pork tenderloin sandwich.
