Method
House Fries Preparation
- 1
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) over medium-high heat.
- 3
Fry the Potatoes
Once the oil is hot, carefully add a batch of fries to the oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, season them with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss to evenly coat.
Dipping Sauces Preparation
- 5
Prepare Pepper Ranch Sauce
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, buttermilk, and ranch seasoning mix. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 6
Prepare Mac’s Barbecue Sauce
In another bowl, pour in the barbecue sauce. This will serve as your Mac’s Barbecue dipping sauce.
- 7
Prepare Jalapeno Honey Mustard
In a small bowl, mix together honey, Dijon mustard, and finely chopped jalapeño peppers. Stir until well combined.
