Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top. Ensure that each fillet is well-coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, allow the coals to ignite and turn ashy.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on one side, then carefully flip and grill for another 4-6 minutes on the other side, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and allow to rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
