Method
Preparing the Vegetables
- 1
Wash and Cut Vegetables
Thoroughly wash all the vegetables under cold running water. Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks. Slice the cucumbers into rounds. Cut the bell peppers into strips. If using larger tomatoes, halve them; otherwise, leave cherry tomatoes whole. Cut the celery into sticks.
- 2
Arrange the Vegetables
On a large platter, arrange the carrot sticks, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, cherry tomatoes, and celery sticks in a visually appealing manner. You can group similar vegetables together or create a rainbow effect by alternating colors.
Making the Dip
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh dill. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed together.
- 4
Taste and Adjust
Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Add more salt, pepper, or dill to suit your taste.
- 5
Serve
Transfer the dip to a small serving bowl and place it in the center of the vegetable platter. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
