Prepare the Pork
Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and rinse under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels.

Season the Pork
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.

Slow Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. In a separate bowl, mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Pour the sauce over the pork. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.

Pull the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Using two forks, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.

Assemble the Sandwiches
Place the pulled pork on buns. Top with coleslaw if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
