Cabernet Sauvignon is the backbone of many of the greatest quality wines in the world. Luna Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon is a traditional Bordeaux style blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. This fine wine will develop improved complexity and extended bottle range.

Winemaking Process

Harvesting Grapes
Select and harvest Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from the vineyard, ensuring they are at optimal ripeness.

Crushing and Destemming
Crush and destem the harvested grapes, separating the juice from the skins while retaining the pulp.

Fermentation
Transfer the grape juice and pulp into fermentation tanks. Add yeast to initiate fermentation, allowing the mixture to ferment for 1-2 weeks at controlled temperatures.

Pressing
After fermentation, press the mixture to extract the remaining juice from the solids.

Aging
Transfer the wine into oak barrels for aging. Allow the wine to age for at least 12 months to develop complexity.

Bottling
After aging, filter and bottle the wine. Add sulfites to preserve the wine and ensure stability.

Labeling and Storage
Label the bottles and store them in a cool, dark place to continue developing until ready for consumption.
