Luna Rossa Winery is dedicated to producing fine wines exclusively from grapes grown in our vineyard in Deming, New Mexico. Arneis is a dry white wine with medium acidity. It has a flowery aroma and taste reminiscent of white peach, citrus and almond. Best served chilled.

Wine Production

Harvesting
Harvest the Arneis grapes at their peak ripeness, ensuring they are free from rot and disease.

Crushing and Pressing
Crush the grapes and press them to extract the juice. Collect the juice in a fermentation vessel.

Fermentation
Add wine yeast to the juice and allow it to ferment at controlled temperatures for 2-3 weeks.

Racking
After fermentation, siphon the wine off the sediment into a clean vessel, leaving the sediment behind.

Aging
Age the wine in stainless steel tanks or neutral oak barrels for 4-6 months to develop flavors.

Fining and Filtration
Clarify the wine using fining agents and filter it to remove any remaining particles.

Bottling
Add sulfur dioxide for preservation, then bottle the wine in clean, sterilized bottles.

Chill the bottled wine in the refrigerator before serving for best flavor.
