Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Seafood

While the pasta is cooking, rinse and clean the shrimp, clams, and mussels under cold water. Set aside.

Making the Broth

  1. 3

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add Tomatoes and Broth

Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juice), fish stock, and white wine. Add bay leaves and season with salt and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

  3. 5

    Simmer the Seafood

Add the shrimp, lobster, clams, and mussels to the pot. Cover and let simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the clams and mussels have opened. Discard any that do not open.

Serving

  1. 6

    Combine and Serve

To serve, place a portion of linguine in a bowl, ladle the seafood cioppino over the pasta, and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
