Brownie Ingredients
Method
Brownie Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Mix Sugars and Eggs
In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and beaten eggs with the melted butter. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve
Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream, topped with whipped cream and hot fudge.
