Method
Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- 2
Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs until smooth. Melt the unsalted butter and add it to the wet mixture, stirring to combine.
- 3
Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients
Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if the batter is slightly lumpy.
- 4
Heat the Griddle
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with a small amount of butter.
- 5
Cook the Pancakes
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
