Method

Tuna Tartare

Prepare the Tuna

Dice the yellowfin tuna into small cubes and place in a bowl. Add olive oil, diced shallots, chopped basil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and set aside.

Roasted Tomatoes

Roast the Tomatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil and salt on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized.

Basil Garlic Aioli

Make the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped basil, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside in the refrigerator.

House-Made Chips

Prepare the Chips

Slice the potatoes thinly and soak in water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the potato slices until golden brown. Season with salt.

Assembly

Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, place the tuna tartare in the center, arrange the roasted tomatoes around it, and serve with basil garlic aioli and house-made chips on the side.
