Lavender Tea

Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Steep Lavender

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of dried lavender flowers. Cover and let steep for about 10 minutes.

Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender flowers. If desired, stir in honey to sweeten. Allow the tea to cool completely.

Lemon Simple Syrup

Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water.

Dissolve Sugar

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Add Lemon Juice

Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and mix in 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Allow the syrup to cool.

Iced Lemonade

Mix Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine 2 cups of cooled lavender tea and 1 cup of lemon simple syrup.

Add Ice

Add 3 cups of ice cubes to the pitcher and stir well to combine.

Serve

Pour the iced lemonade into glasses and garnish with lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs. Serve immediately.
