Pulled Pork Preparation

    Prepare the Pork

    Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.

    Add Ingredients

    Chop the onion and garlic, then add them to the slow cooker along with paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.

    Add Liquids

    Pour in apple cider vinegar and water over the pork and spices.

    Cook the Pork

    Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

    Shred the Pork

    Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with BBQ sauce.

Coleslaw Preparation

    Prepare Vegetables

    Shred the green cabbage and carrot. You can use a food processor or a box grater.

    Mix Coleslaw Dressing

    In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

    Add the shredded cabbage and carrot to the dressing and mix well until everything is coated.

    Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Assembly

    Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them if desired.

    On the bottom half of each bun, place a generous amount of pulled pork followed by a scoop of coleslaw.
