Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Squid
Rinse the cleaned squid rings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Make the Coating
In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Coat the Squid
Toss the squid rings in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
Fry the Squid
Carefully add the coated squid rings to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Add Green Chilies
In the last minute of frying, add the finely chopped green chilies to the oil to cook them slightly.
Drain and Serve
Remove the fried squid from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
