Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation of the Fish

Clean the sea bass by removing the scales, guts, and gills. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Marinade the Fish

In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Rub this mixture all over the fish, both inside the cavity and outside. Squeeze the lemon inside the fish for extra flavor. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using charcoal, ensure the coals are glowing white.

  4. 4

    Grill the Fish

Place the fish on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fish. The skin should be crispy and the flesh should flake easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve whole with additional lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish.
