Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Once the yeast is activated, add it to the flour along with olive oil.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Prepare Pizza Base

Once the dough has risen, punch it down, and roll it out on a floured surface into a 14-inch circle.

  3. 7

    Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce

In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic.

  4. 8

    Add Sauce to Dough

Brush the garlic butter sauce evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.

  5. 9

    Add Toppings

Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, then top with spinach, red pepper, onion, mushrooms, squash, and zucchini.

  6. 10

    Bake the Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  7. 11

    Cool and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
