Hummus Preparation
- 1
Blend Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the cooked chickpeas, tahini, fresh lemon juice, garlic cloves, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water. Blend until smooth.
- 2
Adjust Consistency
If the hummus is too thick, add a little more water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
- 3
Serve
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
Pita Bread Preparation
- 4
Warm Pita Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pita bread on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until soft.
- 5
Slice Pita
Once warm, cut the pita bread into triangles for easy dipping.
Vegetable Preparation
- 6
Prepare Veggies
Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Slice the cucumber and bell pepper into sticks, and peel and cut the carrot into sticks. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
