Directions
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- 3
Add Cream and Cheese
Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring continuously. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- 4
Season the Sauce
Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- 5
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Once the fettuccine is cooked, drain it and add it directly to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine evenly, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
- 6
Add Chicken
Add the sliced cooked chicken breast to the pasta and sauce mixture, tossing gently to combine.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy your creamy Chicken Alfredo!
