Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Blackened Parmesan Cream Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 5

    Prepare Seafood and Vegetables

In a skillet, sauté the shrimp, crawfish, mushrooms, white onion, and red bell pepper over medium heat until cooked through and vegetables are softened, about 5-8 minutes.

  3. 6

    Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Pizza Assembly and Baking

  1. 7

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  2. 8

    Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out into a 12-inch pizza crust.

  3. 9

    Assemble Pizza

Spread the blackened parmesan cream sauce over the dough, leaving a small border. Evenly distribute the seafood and vegetable mixture on top, and then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza.

  4. 10

    Bake Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or hot pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  5. 11

    Cool and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice and serve hot.
