Prepare the Salad Base
- 1
Wash and Chop Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the Romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a paper towel. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
Make Cajun Croutons
- 2
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the French bread into small cubes, about 1 inch in size.
- 3
Season the Croutons
In a mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, olive oil, and Cajun seasoning. Toss until the bread is evenly coated.
- 4
Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, tossing halfway through.
Prepare Caesar Dressing
- 5
Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, grated Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
- 6
Taste and Adjust Seasoning
Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning with more salt or black pepper as needed.
Assemble the Salad
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In the bowl with the chopped Romaine lettuce, add the Cajun croutons and pour the Caesar dressing over the top. Toss gently until everything is well coated.
- 8
