Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Shape Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties that are slightly larger than the burger buns.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty, cover with a lid, and let it melt.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, then the cheese-topped patty, followed by slices of tomato, and a drizzle of ketchup and mayonnaise. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.

  2. 8

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.

  4. 10

    Drain and Season

Remove fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while still hot.
