Jambalaya

Jambalaya

    Cook the Meat

    In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced andouille sausage and chicken breast, cooking until browned.

    Stir in the bell pepper, onion, and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Gumbo

    In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Gradually whisk in the flour, cooking until the mixture is a dark brown color, about 15-20 minutes.
