Flatbread

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Sauté Spinach

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. 2

    Mix Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, diced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, and softened cream cheese. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Cream Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make Cream Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble Rolls

Lay a lavash flatbread on a clean surface. Spread a portion of the filling mixture evenly over the flatbread, leaving about an inch around the edges. Roll the flatbread tightly to enclose the filling. Repeat with the second flatbread.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Cook Rolls

Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled flatbreads seam-side down on the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden and crisp.

  2. 6

    Serve

Slice each roll into 2-3 pieces and serve warm, drizzled with the prepared cream sauce.
