Preparation of Pasta

Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 12 oz of fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
While the pasta cooks, season 2 pieces of chicken breast with 2 tbs of olive oil, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Grill the chicken over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Once done, remove from grill and let it rest before slicing.
Preparation of Alfredo Sauce

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 cup of butter. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.25 tsp of black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Combine and Serve

Combine the Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta.

Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle 2 tbs of chopped parsley over the dish for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy your Chicken Alfredo!
