Prepare the Glass
Take an old fashioned glass and place it on a flat surface.

Add Sugar and Bitters
Place the sugar cube in the glass. Add 2 dashes of bitters over the sugar cube.

Dissolve Sugar
Add 1 tsp of water to the glass. Muddle the sugar and bitters together until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Add Whiskey
Pour 2 oz of whiskey into the glass over the muddled sugar and bitters mix.

Add Ice
Add 3 ice cubes to the glass.

Garnish
Twist a piece of orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it into the glass. Add a maraschino cherry for garnish.

Serve
Stir gently to mix the ingredients. Your Old Fashioned cocktail is ready to serve!
