Meatballs

Method

Instructions

1

Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine the ground veal, pork, and beef. Add breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until combined.

2

Form the Meatballs

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Set aside.

3

Cook the Meatballs

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4

Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes, dried basil, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine.

5

Simmer

Return the meatballs to the skillet with the sauce. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

6

Serve

Serve the meatballs hot, topped with the rich tomato garlic sauce, alongside pasta or crusty bread.
