Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.

Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Scoop and Bake
Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
