Method

Preparation of Crab

  1. 1

    Clean the Crab Claws

Rinse the fresh blue crab claws under cold running water to remove any debris. Pat them dry with paper towels and set aside.

Marinade Preparation

  1. 2

    Mix the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, fresh lemon juice, chopped parsley, chopped dill, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.

Marination Process

  1. 3

    Marinate the Crab Claws

Place the cleaned crab claws into a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the crab claws, making sure they are fully coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag tightly.

  2. 4

    Chill

Refrigerate the marinated crab claws for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld. For best results, marinate overnight.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve

Remove the crab claws from the marinade and arrange them on a serving platter. Optional: garnish with additional fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
