Bread Pudding Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Prepare the Pretzel Bread
Cut the pretzel bread into 1-inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 3
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- 4
Combine Ingredients
Pour the wet mixture over the cubed pretzel bread, gently folding until the bread is evenly coated. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the liquid.
- 5
Bake
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cream Cheese Icing Preparation

Beat Cream Cheese
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- 7
- 8
Add Vanilla
Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Caramel Sauce Preparation

- 10
Add Butter and Cream
Remove from heat and carefully whisk in the butter until melted, then slowly add the heavy cream while stirring constantly until smooth.
- 11
Season
Add a pinch of salt and stir to combine.
Assembly
- 12
Serve
Once the bread pudding has cooled slightly, drizzle with cream cheese icing and warm caramel sauce. Sprinkle with coarse pretzel salt before serving.
