Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Vegetable Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrot, asparagus, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the chopped vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrot, asparagus, and broccoli) and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

  2. 4

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together until well combined.

  3. 5

    Season the Dish

Sprinkle salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil, mixing well to incorporate all flavors.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Pasta Primavera

Remove from heat and serve warm. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
