Main Ingredients

Optional Marinade Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinade (Optional)

If using the optional marinade, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and honey in a bowl. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil all over. If marinating, place the steaks in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Seasoning

After marinating, remove the steaks from the marinade (if used) and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Mince the garlic and set aside.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F or 230°C to 260°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled.

  2. 5

    Grill the Steak

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them to get nice grill marks. Flip the steaks and add minced garlic and rosemary on top of each steak. Grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting the time according to your preferred doneness.

  3. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes on a cutting board, loosely tented with aluminum foil. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  1. 7

    Slice and Serve

Slice the steaks against the grain and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
