Method

Sandwiches

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients for the sandwiches and slice the tomatoes, cucumbers, and turkey as needed.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Sandwiches

On a slice of whole grain bread, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Layer with slices of turkey, lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of bread. Repeat until all sandwiches are assembled.

  3. 3

    Season the Sandwiches

Sprinkle salt and black pepper on the assembled sandwiches to taste.

Salads

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

Rinse the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers.

  3. 6

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle over the salad just before serving and toss to combine.

Desserts

  1. 7

    Prepare Brownie Batter

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined.

  2. 8

    Add Optional Ingredients

If desired, fold in optional nuts to the brownie batter.

  3. 9

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  4. 10

    Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into squares and serving.
