Cake Preparation
1. Prepare the Cake Base
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract. Allow the cake to soak for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator, or overnight for best results.

Once the cake has soaked, serve slices of the tres leches cake topped with a scoop of piña colada ice cream and drizzle with dulce de leche. For added texture, sprinkle coconut-almond crujido on top.
