Lobster Roll Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Corn Esquites

In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the corn kernels and cook until they are slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Lobster Filling

In a small saucepan, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Add the lobster meat and morita chili powder, gently stirring until the lobster is warmed through and coated in the garlic butter, about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Brioche Buns

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium heat. Lightly butter the outsides of the brioche buns. Grill the buns for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Lobster Rolls

Fill each grilled brioche bun with a generous portion of the warmed lobster mixture, followed by a spoonful of the corn esquites. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the lobster rolls with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
