Fried Chicken Sliders Ingredients
Method
Fried Chicken Sliders Directions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk with salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In a shallow dish, mix together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Set aside.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, pour in the vegetable oil and heat over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Sliders
Slice the slider buns in half. Spread the herb aioli on the bottom half of each bun, add a fried chicken breast, top with crispy onion rings, and drizzle green chili sauce over the top. Place the top half of the bun on and serve immediately.
