Prepare the Glass
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a 12 oz glass and dip it into salt to coat the rim.
Blend or Shake
In a blender, combine tequila, fresh lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth for a frozen margarita or shake vigorously in a shaker for a rocks margarita.
Serve
Pour the blended or shaken margarita into the prepared glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
