For the Stewed Beef

Add Liquids
Pour in the black beer and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Adjust Seasoning
Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as needed. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Cook the Beans
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30-40 minutes, or until beans are tender. Add salt to taste.
For the White Rice

Cook the Rice
In a pot, combine the white rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked and water is absorbed.
For the Salsa Criolla

Prepare the Salsa
In a bowl, combine the sliced red onion, diced tomato, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and salt. Mix well and let sit for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
