Method
Tiramisu Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
Brew the espresso and let it cool. If using, mix in the coffee liqueur once cooled.
- 2
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- 3
Combine Mascarpone and Vanilla
In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese with vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- 4
Layer the Ingredients
Dip each gluten-free ladyfinger briefly into the cooled espresso mixture and layer them in a rectangular dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- 5
Add Another Layer
Repeat the dipping and layering process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- 6
Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- 7
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
