Method

Preparation and Baking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crust

Place the gluten-free pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Onion

In a skillet, sauté the finely chopped onion over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the spinach and cook until wilted, then remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Mix the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the sautéed onion and spinach mixture, cooked ham, Swiss cheese, and chèvre cheese into the egg mixture and stir until evenly distributed.

  6. 6

    Pour and Bake

Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow the quiche to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
